Seward has the most bicycle friendly retail and recreation areas in Minnesota.
With the installation of many distinctive new bike racks (like those pictured) across the neighborhood we decided to make this game.
Get your camera, show your creativity & knowledge of Seward geography. Participate in the Great Bike Rack Scavenger Hunt!
Here's how it works:
Anytime before, during and after the Seward Arts Festival, use your digital camera to photograph bike racks in Seward. The distinctive "Seward style" (See pictures) racks designed & manufacture by the Dero Bike Rack Co. & specialty racks (See pictures) are worth extra points.

• For each location where you photograph racks you get five(5) points.
(eg. Seward School = 1 location & Mathews Park = One location. Seward Coop = 1 location.) -
• For each "Seward style" rack pictured you get two (2) points.

• For each Specialty rack pictured you get three (3) points.

• For any other rack pictured you get one (1) point.

• For each bike locked to a rack pictured you get one (1) point.

• Additional points may be added by the judges for creativity.

Deadline is Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 8:00 PM Central Daylight Time
Note: Submissions of more than 20 images will be disqualified.
Tally your points & include your total if you wish & help score your entry.
Judges will tally the points & award the winners. Winners will be announced on the sng-scan e-mail list, the SAF website, and SAF FaceBook page.
The decision of the judges is final.
